The Courchevel ski resort is part of the Les Trois Vallèes (3 Valleys) in the Tarentaise valley. Courchevel is a great all-round French Alps resort offering exceptional skiing and snowboarding across one the world's largest interlinked ski area. The area of Courchevel ski resort is one of the most glamorous ski resort in France. Having said that, the skiing here can be so fantastic for all abilities. Courchevel has a reliable snow record in a northerly-aspect resort with most ski terrain above 1,800m. It offers a great range and variety of groomed piste trails for all abilities, but particularly for beginners and intermediates. For those who enjoy off-piste terrain they will not be disappointed in Courchevel. The resort offers well sign-posted connections between the villages through to Meribel. There is lively après ski and a very good selection of restaurants.
Getting there
Airports include: Geneva (GVA) - 140km (2-2½hr); Lyon St Exupery (LYS) - 187km (2-2½hr); & Chambéry (CMF) - 110km (1½hr) (note- Chambery only has flights on weekends from limited origins).
